All I can say is WOW what a year.  It was one year ago this week that I had my very first audition for a TV show.(Zoey 101) and also shot my first actual “part” (one with a name) in a feature film.  I could not believe I actually go the part on Zoey or in the movie!!! and all in one week!  I had such fun filming both and I learned so much!  Unfortunately, I have also learned about ending up on the cutting room floor too but that is ok and is all a part of this incredible jouney for me.  This jouney lead me to signing in May with a big Hollywood agency and managers.  That is when the auditioning fun went into full swing!  On my 3rd audition with my new agents and managers I booked a lead in a big feature film…a lead, can you believe it??  I was in heaven!!!  Best of all, I found out I got the part while I was at my favorite place on earth, Camp Longhorn!!  At the same time, Emily approched my family about doing this fansite.  I could not believe it!  A fansite for me???!!!  I think I must be the luckiest girl in the world.  And can you believe I was also offered a tv series just a week after I got back from camp?? but I could not do it because I was headed to Missouri for filming.  The 7 weeks there were some of the best days of my life!  I made so many life long friends and I hope we will always stay close.  I cannot wait to see what happens this year!  I will try to be better at posting what I am doing more often.

Well I have to say that today was the most incredible day of my life!  My first day of shooting.  We started with a quick shoot that we found out about 20 mins before shooting.  We had to run to wardrobe then hair and make up ( but luckily they said I did not need any make up so it was quick and I did not have to have that stuff…but they did take off my multi color nail polish..oops)  Off to the set we went!  It was so fun!!! but even more fun was the very big scene we shot in the afternoon.  They made it rain..and not just a little, it poured!!!! It was so cooooollllll.  The director was thrilled with it by the second shot!!! But we had to do one more because the horse in the shot went a bit crazy so we had to do it again.  We then worked different angles and close ups and stuff like that.  The whole town came to watch and the newspaper wanted interviews and stuff.  People have even asked for autographs.  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and this is the funnest thing in the world to be doing.  I could have shot all night.  We ended the day with one more scene in the truck driving on country roads which was also so much fun. We are having fun playing jokes on eachother already.  It is like a big happy family with the cast and the crew.  I have a short day tomorrow and I get to see my brother and my dad since they are coming to visit me on the set. Well tomorrow I go to school for half a day (just to meet teachers etc) and then I am off to Los Angeles and the first leg to my set for my new movie.  I get to go to wardrobe on Tues. and I cannot wait!! then off to the set for a week of rehearsals.  I am so excited I do not know whether to scream or cry…or both!!  I have not really told anyone at school that I got a lead in a feature film and I guess they may wonder where I went but I really do not want to make a big deal out of it at home in Texas.  I will let you know how it goes in wardrobe but my mom tells me every style keeps repeating so maybe my stuff for the 50’s will be cool…I do not really care, I just love the idea of having a wardrobe!!!  Talk to ya soon and thanks so much for reading!!!
